Earth day. This day is very special to me because nature has a special place in my heart. Ever since I started college, it’s something I’ve really grown to love. I find pure joy in being outside and seeing the wonderful creation God has made, and it’s humbling to know I’m a part of it! I love how close I feel to God when I’m out in nature, and how going on hikes and doing activities involving the great outdoors makes me feel energized.
Here are just a few of my captured memories from the past year or so. Looking back on these pictures makes me feel happy how enjoying nature has been such a big part of my life so far. (I tried to put them in seasonal order, but then it took too long and being the lazy self that I am, I made life easier and just left it as it is. Enjoy and go outside!!)
Tennessee has some pretty impressive views and treats to offer outside!
Georgia’s finest creatures.
From our rock climbing trip in Alabama.
Here are some more Tennessee beauties!
The next three are from Biltmore, SC. If I could just walk through those gardens everyday, I think I’d be one happy gal.
This last picture here reminds me how nature can bring together people in so many unique ways. Just like how we were able to connect with this neighbor last year. He was kind enough to show us the view from his house and we were able to share some stories with him.
Even though this is now a late post, it’s never to late to appreciate the beauties of this world. Yes, it’s (this world) crazy and yes, it’s imperfect. But if you look past that, there’s way more perfection and things to be thankful for than all the negatives. Have a great day friends!
