A Very Happy Holiday

This Christmas is particularly special to me this year because the whole family is together. All the siblings and their husbands are here to celebrate the holiday. It was nice to wake up Christmas morning and open the presents (very loudly might I add) just like the old days.

The kitchen seems to be in use non-stop, Christmas music playing all day, and everyone dressed in pjs from morning to evening. The gifts were (of course) a joy to receive but the older I’m getting, the more I’m enjoying seeing the faces of those receiving my presents. It’s a joy to sing songs of Christ’s birth and even more so to read the nativity story.

So far, the days have been filled with game nights (till 4 AM), delicious meals, excursions around town, and lots and LOTS of laughter. I love the holidays with my family and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end 2015.

Here’s to a random yet reflective, share on a VERY happy holiday.

XO,
KESILIHA
